NMGBC 2015

Introduction

NMGBC (National Medical and General Biology Competition) is an annual event held by Asian Medical Students’ Association – Universitas Indonesia. It is a national competition for high school student that will take place in the Faculty of Medicine Universitas Indonesia. There is only one kind of competition in NMGBC and it will be taken individually by all participants. In this year, NMGBC will be held on May 8th – May 10th 2015. Besides competition, we also provide students with a tour around the campus of Universitas Indonesia. Through this event, we hope students understand more about medicine and are more encouraged to join the medical field as a health practitioner.

Participant

Participants of NMGBC 2015 are high school students at senior high school level grade I, II, or III and one teacher from each school. Students can only register for one kind of competition in NMGBC as there is only one kind of competition in NMGBC. There is no student limit for school to participate in the competition. For teachers, there will be seminars about cardiovascular diseases from experts in the Faculty of Medicine Universitas Indonesia.

Place and Time

The event will be held in Universitas Indonesia, Depok on May 8th – May 10th 2015. The first day would be the technical meeting for all participant. The second day is the qualification round of the competition and the third day is the semifinal and final round of the competition.

Registration

The registration will be open on February 9^th 2015 until March 31^st 2015. The registration fee is IDR 200,000 for each participant (except teacher). Further information about the registration will be posted soon.

Accommodation

During the competition, we will provide accommodation (hotel). The accommodation provided will cost extra fee each night. Further information about the accommodation will be posted soon.
